What we collect
Perch collects the minimum data needed to track prices and send you notifications:
- Product URLs — The links you share with Perch so we can track prices.
- Guest ID — A randomly generated anonymous identifier. We don't require accounts, emails, or passwords.
- Push tokens — If you enable notifications, we store your device's push notification token to send you price drop alerts.
- Price drop threshold — Your preferred percentage for price drop notifications.
How we use your data
Your data is used for two purposes only:
- Price tracking — We check product prices regularly and store a 30-day price history so you can see trends.
- Notifications — When a price drops below your threshold, we send a push notification to your device.
Data retention
- Price history is retained for 30 days.
- Shared links expire after 30 days.
- Generated outfit images expire after 30 days.
- Your watchlist data persists until you remove items or delete the app.
No third-party sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties. We do not use analytics SDKs that track you across apps. We do not show ads.
